Are your products vegan?
Yes. Every Akinra product is 100% vegan. No animal-derived ingredients, no animal testing. Ever.
Are your products safe for sensitive skin?
Our formulas are free of sulfates, parabens, silicones, and phthalates. That said, everyone's skin is different, we recommend checking the full ingredient list on each product page and doing a patch test if you have known sensitivities.
Where are your products made?
Everything is small-batch blended by hand in our FDA-registered, GMP-certified facility in Cambridge, Maryland.
Do you offer a military or veteran discount?
Yes. We offer 15% off for all active duty, veterans, and military families through GovX. The discount link is in our announcement bar at the top of the site.
What's the difference between the butter scents?
All five butters use the same base formula (Cupuaçu, Ucuuba, Murumuru, Marula, and Baobab). The only difference is the fragrance. Unscented has no added fragrance at all.
How long do your products last?
Unopened, our products have a shelf life of 12 months. Once opened, we recommend using within 6 months for best results. All products include a batch number for traceability.
Do you ship internationally?
Not yet. We currently ship within the United States only. Free shipping on orders over $50.
What's your return policy?
If you're not happy with your order, contact us within 30 days of delivery. We'll make it right.
Is the shampoo sulfate-free?
Yes. Crown Revival Shampoo uses gentle, sulfate-free cleansers that clean without stripping your hair's natural moisture.
Do you sell wholesale or in bulk?

Are you really veteran-owned?
Yes. Akinra is founded and operated by a U.S. Army veteran. We're registered on SAM.gov and pursuing SDVOSB certification.
